What this does not count
- Whether a guest who books direct would have come without Booking.com at all. Some would not, and the calculator cannot tell you how many.
- Commission on VAT. Booking.com charges commission on VAT in most countries, so enter the rate as the guest pays it.
- City tax, which carries no commission, and the discount you fund for Genius, which comes on top.
